Natalia Stardust is the lead singer and guitarist of Stardust — a band that plays a mix of genres blending rock, grunge, and punk, featuring Jason on lead guitar, Ted on drums, and Travis on bass. Stardust's songwriting is woven from personal experiences, raw emotion, and an exploration of societal themes.
Their latest single, “Manorexic”, along with their first visually striking music video, is a feminist punk-rock anthem that takes a razor-sharp stab at emotionally void men and societal double standards with lyrics that are unapologetically confrontational. Tracks like "Brain Rot" and “Daydream” showcase a candid reflection of mental health and the complexities of modern day relationships, capturing a yearning for simpler times. Natalia channels the chaos of feminine rage and grungy sex appeal, a vibe fully captivated in their high energy performances.
Stardust recently played a show with new femme fronted bands in the scene; Hunny Bucket and Town Bully at the Makeout Room. Stardust are also influenced by local femme fronted bands such as Choke Cherry, Scowl, Destroy Boys, Christina’s Tripp, and Bigg Dogg Mastiff who continue to shape the local punk rock scene.
The band is currently working on writing and recording new music with plans to release more tracks and play more shows. Catch Stardust opening for the punk band Love Letter’s tour hitting San Francisco at the Neck of the Woods on April 9th. Follow them on Instagram @starzsdust and check out all their links here.
